Monday Specials

Well this is a pleasant start to the work week. I have completed 4 transactions now on my etsy website and couldn't be happier! I have made a couple of sales and a couple of trades. In honor of this accomplishment and the fact I have had my etsy account for a whole month now I am having a special today, 15% off anything in stock with discounted shipping on all orders! Enjoy :)

On another note I am only working a couple of days this week so it will be a short work week. I took yesterday off for errands and then will be off Thursday and Friday as well. I have to go to the BEACH for a seminar..oh darn...LOL.

My first Sale.....sort of ;)

Thank you to lizzycub on etsy I have my first sale on etsy! Well sort of..LOL. We have done a trade so I neither made money but nor have I lost any and I have gained beautiful handmade cards that she makes. If they are anything like the pictures they are going to be fabulous...and I am sure they will be! But the wonderful thing about trade is the fact not only do I get these wonderful handmade cards she will get one of my creations and we can help to promote each other. Trade is a wonderful concept I have only found on etsy. They are my new "home" and I couldn't be happier. Come check me out on etsy or view my mini store here on my blog. Welcome all to Debty Beautiful Beads new blog. Let me tell you a little about me so you can get to "know" me. I am married to a wonderful man and we have custody of his 14 yr old nephew...yikes a teenager! I know alot of you can sympathize with that! Sadly we are not able to have children of our own so after some consideration between foster/adopt and private adoption we have decided to foster/adopt. This way, I hope to work only part time and be able to stay home with the kiddies part time and also we can have a big family. We are looking to foster/adopt 2-3 children. I am a paralegal and my husband is a surveyor for the state. I have just realized my passion for creating lovely glass beaded jewelry and am looking to promote my new talent. Hopefully this will also suppliment our income enough to also allow me to work part time. I have always wanted to work part time and work from home more. So thru the sadness of not being able to have my own children has come a wealth of wonderful opportunities that may not have been. God always has a plan!
